These Terms & Conditions apply to bookings, programmes, classes, events and products purchased from Creative by Nature, run by Siobhán Sloane.

By making a booking or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Our programmes and services

Creative by Nature offers nature-connected learning, creativity and wellbeing experiences. These may include Forest School programmes, seasonal nature camps, yoga classes, nature walks, therapeutic nature connection, educator training, school programmes and Heritage in Schools visits.

Details such as dates, times, location, age range, price and what is included are shown on the relevant booking or product page. Please check these carefully before booking.

Some school and Heritage in Schools visits are arranged directly with Siobhán and may also be subject to the relevant Heritage in Schools Scheme booking process and terms.

Bookings and payment

A booking is confirmed once payment has been received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Please ensure that the participant details, dates, programme and age range are correct before making payment. If you have any questions before booking, please get in touch.

Creative by Nature may refuse or cancel a booking where the information provided is incorrect, where a programme is unsuitable for the participant, or where there is a health, safety or safeguarding concern. Where this happens, we will contact you to discuss the available options.

Children’s camps and Forest School programmes

Nature camps and Forest School programmes are designed for the age range shown on the relevant booking page. Bookings made for children outside that age range may not be suitable and may be cancelled.

If your child has additional needs, a medical condition, allergy, or any other information that may help us support them safely and well, please contact Siobhán before booking. We will discuss whether the programme is suitable and what reasonable support may be possible.

Parents and guardians are responsible for providing accurate emergency contact details and any relevant medical or support information.

Children should arrive dressed appropriately for the weather and outdoor activity, including suitable footwear, waterproof clothing and warm layers where needed. A full kit list will be provided where relevant.

Outdoor activities and weather

Many Creative by Nature activities take place outdoors. Programmes may continue in typical Irish weather where it is safe and appropriate to do so.

If weather, site conditions or another unforeseen circumstance creates a safety concern, an activity may be adapted, moved, postponed or cancelled. Where possible, we will offer an alternative date, credit or refund. We will always aim to communicate any changes as soon as possible.

Cancellations by you

If you need to cancel a camp, class, event or programme booking, please contact us as soon as possible in writing.

Unless different terms are clearly stated on the relevant booking page:

Cancellations made at least three weeks before the activity start date will be refunded, less any non-refundable booking fee and a 20% administration charge.

Cancellations made less than three weeks before the activity start date are non-refundable.

You may transfer a place to another suitable participant only with prior agreement from Creative by Nature.

Nothing in these terms affects any cancellation rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

Cancellations by Creative by Nature

If Creative by Nature needs to cancel a class, camp, event or programme, we will offer a suitable alternative date, credit or a refund of the amount paid for the cancelled activity.

Creative by Nature is not responsible for additional costs you may incur as a result of cancellation, such as travel, accommodation or childcare costs.

Yoga, walks and wellbeing activities

Participants are responsible for deciding whether they are fit to take part in yoga, walking or other wellbeing activities. Please tell Siobhán before the activity if you have an injury, medical condition, pregnancy or any concern that may affect your participation.

Activities are offered in a supportive and educational setting and are not a substitute for medical, psychological or therapeutic treatment. Please seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional where needed.

School programmes and training

For school visits, educator training and group programmes, the programme details, date, setting, group size, costs and cancellation arrangements will be agreed in advance with the school, organiser or group contact.

Schools and organisers are responsible for ensuring appropriate supervision of children and participants, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Products, delivery and returns

Where physical products are sold through the website, delivery costs and estimated delivery times will be shown before checkout where possible.

If you buy goods online, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of receiving them. To cancel, please contact us in writing within that period. You must then return the goods within a further 14 days.

Returned goods should be unused, in a resaleable condition and returned with their original packaging where possible. You are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty or we have made an error.

Some goods may be exempt from the right to cancel, including personalised goods and sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed.

If an item is faulty, damaged, not as described or does not work as expected, please contact us promptly. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by these Terms & Conditions.

Photography and media

From time to time, photographs or video may be taken during programmes or events for Creative by Nature’s website, social media or promotional materials.

We will seek appropriate consent before using identifiable images of participants, particularly children. Please let us know in advance if you do not wish to be photographed.

Personal information

Personal information is handled in accordance with the Creative by Nature Privacy Policy. By making a booking, you agree to provide the information reasonably needed to administer your booking and deliver the activity safely.

Changes to these terms

Creative by Nature may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version in place at the time of your booking or purchase will apply.

Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
